Paul Steelman CEO & Managing Member Paul Steelman, a Las Vegas resident for over 25 years, is widely recognized as a visionary designer of entertainment, hospitality and gaming venues worldwide. His unique talents, resources and experience set Pacific Casino & Entertainment Group apart in our ability to deliver a wide array of casino and entertainment based projects able to succeed and flourish in a competitive global marketplace. Over the course of creating iconic and profitable designs worldwide, Mr. Steelman has established and cultivated relationships with many government leaders as well as high-level members in the finance, banking and investment industries. Paul is the CEO of Steelman Partners, an international architecture firm based in Las Vegas, Nevada that specializes in the multi-disciplinary facets of entertainment architecture. Besides the organization's home offices in Las Vegas, Steelman Partners and its affiliates have offices in Macau and Zhuhai, China; Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; Amsterdam, Holland and Sydney, Australia. Steelman owns and operates several other companies which serve as integral pieces to project design and development: DSAA (interior design) Hyperion Dynamic (energy design), Inviro Studios (film animation), shop12 (lighting, theater, ride and attraction design) and MARQI (branding and identity design). The ability to utilize the Steelman affiliates to manage every aspect of any project in-house, from design to development, creates a competitive advantage for PCEG. Paul's portfolio of clients includes such multi-national casino and entertainment owners and operators as Genting, MGM, Harrah's, Wynn, Venetian, Lady Luck, Swiss Casinos, Sheraton, Hyatt, Plaza/El-Ad, Crown SDJM, Melco, Galaxy, Caesars, plus many others. He is renowned for designing the most successful casino in the world – the Sands Macau; the first Las Vegas style casino in the People’s Republic of China. This project returned 100 percent of its investment to the owners within 10 months. The Sands Macau was designed and constructed in record time, with a cost of around $240,000,000 USD. It returned to the investor $1,400,000,000 USD in only 42 months. One of Paul’s most recent endeavors is the development of Resort World Las Vegas in Las Vegas. Paul has been monumental in overseeing its progress and in starting to bring these projects to reality. Through his involvement, Paul has laid the groundwork to provide a significant economic stimulus to Las Vegas. Paul was honored as the 2010 SARNO Lifetime Achievement Award recipient and received the 2006 HOSPY Lifetime Achievement Award. He has been featured in many publications and visual media, including Forbes Magazine, MSNBC, the Oceans 13 DVD, and most recently a Discovery Channel feature on "The Secrets of Las Vegas." Paul serves on the board of directors for The Lou Ruvo Brain Institute in Las Vegas, The Federal Law Enforcement Foundation in New York, and The Clemson School of Architecture at Clemson University in South Carolina. |
